"You have your brush, you have your colors, you paint paradise, then in you go." –Nikos Kazantzakis

Well, in our case, we were weaving paradise!

Lauren finished up her Saori Intensive…

The warp was lovely. She brought some special treasures with her to add as tuck-ins:  some sari silk threads, a little handspun (which she ended up not using, but so graciously gifted some to Frida and Aimee), and a little vintage bark cloth. Isn't it fabulous?

Jan also brought a stash of fibers to play with:  some dyed roving, hand-dyed linen, and some of my cut up recycled kimono silk.

Lovin' the textures and what Jan calls, "mucky" colors!

Even Frida and Aimee did some weaving…

Only one loom left for tomorrow's class! I am doing a SAORI Intro class and the Weave a Scarf class at the same time, so if you are interested in a small project, or a larger one, let me know soon!
