"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives." –Clay P. Bedford

The last day of our SAORI Intensive

was jam-packed!

Their curiosity knew no bounds!

They learned new techniques…

such as two- and three-clasped weft,

mountain pose and flying W's,

inlay,

pulling warp and/or weft threads,

using supplemental warp threads, weft as warp, …and more!

How to finish the cloth once it is off the loom…

and tips for sewing with handwovens.

M-F emailed last night when she was safely home,

"I just loved what i have done...what I have learned and what I will be doing. It was a fantastic experience, you are such a good teacher...and generous person."

Thank you so much! The pleasure was all mine :)

Fleece,

Karen
